Mobile app development

Our mobile app development service covers design, code, the backend and store submission for iOS and Android. A project usually takes 8–14 weeks, with the finish date written on day one. Store accounts, server and code are in your name from the start.

Who is mobile app development for?

Mobile app development is for companies that want to give customers or staff a tool they use on their phone every day. Typical clients want a loyalty or ordering app, need to manage a field team, or want to test an idea with a first version.

Not every business needs an app. If a good mobile-friendly website does the job, we say so. If you do need an app, we first narrow the first release down to an MVP. We explain what drives the budget in what a mobile app costs.

What do we build?

We build the screens, the app, the backend and the store submission as one team. Most projects use Flutter or React Native, which ship one codebase to both platforms. This is called cross-platform development. When an app leans heavily on the hardware, we write native code in Swift for iOS and Kotlin for Android.

The app keeps its data on a server. We usually build that server and its admin panel with Laravel. The app talks to it through an API. Store review time is outside our control, so we leave room for it in the schedule. The steps are in publishing an app to the stores.

What is included

  • Screen design

We draw the main flows screen by screen and share a clickable prototype.

  • iOS and Android app

One app that runs on both platforms, tested on different screen sizes.

  • Backend and admin panel

Manage users, content and notifications from one panel.

  • Store submission

We prepare the App Store and Google Play submission and follow the review.

  • Accounts in your name

Developer accounts, server and code repository belong to your company.

How the project runs

  1. 01 You write, we reply within a business day Day 0 you write. Day 1 we reply. Day 2 we talk for 30 minutes about who will use the app and why.
  2. 02 One-page quote and definition of done Day 4 you get the quote. Day 5 the definition of done is signed, listing every screen in the first release.
  3. 03 Design and build You approve the screens, then we build. You install test builds on your own phone.
  4. 04 Testing We test on different phones, on weak connections and with real data.
  5. 05 Store release and handover We submit to the stores, release after approval and hand over every login.

What happens after release?

For 30 days after release we fix bugs for free. Real users on real phones find things, and this period covers them. The definition of done signed on day five says exactly what the release had to include.

Apple and Google release new operating system versions every year, and apps need to keep up. Monthly maintenance and support covers that, and it is optional. If you want to leave, one email is enough.

Frequently asked questions

01

How long does a mobile app take?

Usually 8–14 weeks, depending on screens and integrations. We leave room for store review.

02

Flutter or native?

Flutter or React Native suits most business apps and covers both platforms with one codebase. We recommend native for hardware-heavy apps.

03

Whose name are the developer accounts in?

Yours. Your company opens the Apple and Google accounts and gives us access.

04

What if the store rejects the app?

We read the reason, make the fix and resubmit. That is part of the scope.

05

Can the app use the same data as our website?

Yes. The app and your website can connect to the same server and the same data. You update a product or a page once, and it shows up in both places.

06

What changes the price of a mobile app?

The number of screens, user roles, the backend and admin panel, and the systems to connect. Payments, offline mode and multiple languages add time. The biggest budget decision is the scope of the first release.

07

What should we prepare before we start?

A few sentences on who will use the app and for what are enough. Start opening your Apple and Google developer accounts early, because approval can take time. No screen sketches needed; we draw them together.

08

Who owns the app's code?

You do. The code repository, server and store accounts belong to your company from day one. You are also the owner of the app in the stores.

09

Who handles updates after release?

We fix bugs for free for the first 30 days. After that, keeping up with new iOS and Android versions and small changes is covered by optional monthly maintenance. Since the code is yours, you can also continue with another team.

10

Do you work with clients outside İzmir?

Yes. We are based in İzmir and work remotely with clients across Turkey and abroad. You install test builds on your own phone and see progress every week.
