sanalyerA chat app with 3D voice rooms and table games
sanalyer is a free chat app where friends and communities meet. Its servers, channels and direct messages feel familiar to anyone who uses Discord. Voice channels turn into 3D rooms such as a coffee house, a night lounge or a neighbourhood café, and people play okey, 101, backgammon, chess and draughts at the tables. It opens in the browser, and there is a desktop app for Windows, macOS and Linux.

What is sanalyer?
sanalyer is a chat app where friends and communities come together. The layout is familiar: servers, text and voice channels, direct messages and emojis. Anyone coming from Discord finds their way around.
The difference is in the voice channels. A voice channel becomes a place you walk into: a coffee house, a night lounge or a neighbourhood café. Everyone takes a seat, whoever sits at a table starts a game, and a shared screen appears on the TV on the wall. It opens straight in the browser, and the desktop app is there for those who want it.
What is in it?
-
3D voice rooms
Coffee house, night lounge, game room, Neon Salon, Purple City, Neighbourhood Café and Executive Office. Whoever runs the channel picks the room.
-
Table games
People play okey, 101, backgammon, chess and draughts at the tables while they talk, with the tiles in plain view.
-
Screen sharing in the room
A shared screen opens on the room TV, and a camera feed sits above that person's avatar.
-
Bots and soundboard
A music bot that plays songs in turn, SanalyerBot for welcomes and moderation, and a soundboard with sounds uploaded to the server.
-
Personalisation
Name styles, profile card themes and ready-made colour palettes, in dark, charcoal and light layouts.
-
Desktop app
Windows, macOS and Linux. Push-to-talk shortcuts that work while you are in another app, and automatic updates.
What did we add on top of Fluxer?
sanalyer's chat, channel and voice infrastructure comes from the open-source Fluxer project. Instead of writing it from scratch, we took a solid base and put our effort where it makes the difference: 3D rooms, the soundboard, name styles and profile themes, server boost levels, game activity and the sanalyer edition of the desktop app. We translated the interface into Turkish and filled in missing translations for other languages.
We bring Fluxer's updates into our version regularly. Because the licence is AGPL-3.0, our source code is open to everyone on GitHub.
What does this project tell you?
Not every job needs to be written from scratch. Choosing the right open-source base, keeping it up to date and adding the part that is unique to you is often faster and cheaper. If you are planning a similar community or communication product, write to us; to see the product, visit sanalyer.com.
